NodeSchool NYC is a bi-monthly meetup dedicated to helping people learn JavaScript. We help people of all skill levels–from beginners to experts–discover what's possible with JavaScript. Bring yourself, your computer, and the desire to learn to our next event!

NodeSchool NYC events are an opportunity to hang out with other learners and mentors in a low stress, encouraging environment. Get set up to work on lessons with real industry tools on your own computer, at your own pace. A typical event follows this schedule:
NodeSchool NYC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers.
